Organic Popcorn

Organic PopcornWhat a Pop!  Popcorn that is!

I want to share with you how to enjoy my popcorn.  It grows in a field just like sweet corn.  After a good hard freeze we pick the corn cobs and bring them in.  We pull the husk back from the cobs and hang them in the barn to dry until Thanksgiving.

Then it is time to shell the kernels off the cobs.  We put the kernels in a jar. The jars need to be stored in the refrigerator to keep the moisture constant.

Now it’s ready to pop and enjoy!  I think its best with real butter melted on top.  It is simply the best popcorn you will ever eat.

I sell it on a string of five cobs.  You can stop by the farm to purchase it after mid-October or order it by email.

Email me  or call 952-442-4816 to order. We can ship!

This field of organic popcorn grew behind my barn. At the time of this photo it had tasseled and would be ready to harvest after a good hard freeze.
