What happened to spring
I thought it was here
So I cannot sing
But I have a lot to share

Hello!

Life on the Farm is fun. The greenhouse is alive with new starts running out of room. Need to start moving plants to the big house on the hill.

We have a lot of things potted. Canadian Red Rhubarb, Lily of the Valley, Tiger Lily’s, Tall Orange Day Lily’s for sale.

At the Farm is open when the weather is kinda warm. Call to check on me.

Had a great Saturday. I need to remind you about the soil in your garden. Remember to take a shovel full and then take a handful, squeeze it into a ball. If it stays in a ball, it’s too early to plant. The soil (not dirt) needs to crumble, you will pay the fiddler all year if you get in there too early. It does not loosen and you will have clumps forever.

You can dig and move hostas and divide perennials, Rhubarb, and small shrubs. I like to do this in the spring. I sometimes put some compost in a pail of water for a few days, then put it on transplants.

I have great Organic Chicken Pellets for sale. I used them on my fields last year, excellent!!

Shop here for your garden vegetable seeds. When you get them from a seed rack, it does not talk to you or teach you.
