Great to be Doing
What luck do we have
Flower Beds are Blooming
Our Mission makes us glad

Hello!

What a difference a day makes. On Monday the Waconia Farm Store pulled the pin. Its done. You may know it as UFC Farm Supply. The story is someone bought the land. I have baby chicks on order for May 22. I do not know if that will work. Where will I get chicken feed with that closed?

The fields are being planted. The Potatoes, Lettuce, Onions, Cabbage, Peas, Beets, and Carrots are in. The tilled fields are so pretty. I just love land and farming.

The Bedding Plants are fabulous. So great to enjoy the flowers. This season I have a new grower, along with other growers I have. We do not start the flowers. We start Vegetable Plants. We pot container Flower Pots, Vegetable Pots and Herb Pots.

I have started to sell great food. This is fun. Hope to have Home Grown Asparagus soon. Maybe the middle of May. Also Organic Rhubarb.

Georgia Vidalia Onions, excellent. Do you know all Vidalia Onions are not mild or sweet? I got Vidalia from somewhere, it was a Green Giant tag on it. I threw it out. It was so strong. I have always sold Georgia Vidalia, much better flavor. I didn’t get the Green Giant to sell, only one for me. That was a learning lesson. Never too old to learn.

Food To Enjoy

Tomatoes – Slicing, Canada
Tomatoes – Roma, Mexico
Red Potatoes – Baby Red, Florida

I have to do a delete. I cannot take a charge card. It cost too much, sorry. Bring the green or checks.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I have the best, forget the rest!
