Hello! Happy Turkey Day!

The Turkey is roasting
It’s time to Pray
No excuse to be loafing
Have a glorious Day

The gathering of friends, family, anyone to share this great day. I don’t have to cook this year. My daughter Nancy will do the honor.
The Barn is all put to bed. This year it wasn’t so hard. The rain and bad weather got me. So I was ok when I figured out my 2020.

I have a new plan for 2020. In June I will do a Downtown Abby Tea, Savory Course, Sweet Course, Tea, plans are in progress.
I also will be on Instagram. I’ll have help to figure that out. It’s fun to learn.

Carver County wants to do a County Tourism. I’ve been asked to help. I want to be the Tourism Center for Carver County. I could redo a Shack with all the information. Something for me to work on. An honor to be asked to help with this project of the County.

Soon I can decorate for Christmas. The years go by faster all the time. I love to get the boxes down. It’s like visiting with an old friend to see all my treasures.

I’ll write again to tell you the progress of Christmas decorating.

Your friend,
Donna

P.S. I now have Organic Brown Eggs for sale. Self-serve on my front porch. If gate is closed, walk up.

The Story of the Sister Jean Cookies We Make

A nun in North Minneapolis started making them and put them in a cart. Sold them on the sidewalk to help fund the school. It was called a Cookie Cart.
The school now has a cart called Comfort Cart. I don’t know where they sell their treats. I have told this story many times but wasn’t sure I was right.
I saw a TV article a few weeks ago about this cookie and the cart. Now I know for sure about this cookie.

A Kitten Story

I have a Kitten story. The 3 orange kittens I was to get. But something go them. They were coming from a hobby farm, not in a house. I’ll find some in the spring. I have my Molly and my chicken, Hennriette. They get along fabulous. they will live in the hen house all winter.
