Happy New Year!

The New Year is here
It’s time to sing
A new mission to steer
What will 2020 bring?

2020 will be a fabulous year! There will be a few new Produce Items to try. I always try to learn something new but always plant the tried and true also.

There is a golden long sweet pepper like The Carmen I will plant, a new Red Onion is also on the market, I will try. Nothing beats the Candy (that’s not red).

Coffee ShackThe jury is out on The Coffee Shack. I can’t pull the trigger on that. Maybe I need to do tea also, two days only. A sign to the Highway?

I’m working on the Downtown Abby Tea in June. I have been gathering props for that. It will be at 1pm. A three course, not five like the last Tea.

I’m busy having guests in to enjoy my Christmas house. I have people until the third week in January. Then it’s time to order Garden Seed. I have 25 people left to entertain. Not all at once. It’s so special to do this.

I’m making Bread and Kucken. The Kucken is a winner as a lot of people grew up with this. Their Mom or Grandmothers made it.

The gathering with my elves was fabulous. They are the best! I could not do my Farm without their help.

Had my daughter and family for Christmas. Great food and visiting.

Anyone remember the Chiffon Cake? This was talked about as the Biggest Cake News in 100 years. I found recipes for this. I will try it for a gathering. I love to bake cakes.

The Chicken and Cat are fine. They live in the hen house. The Chicken has molted. That’s when they lose a lot of feathers. She looks sad but will regrow new feathers in the spring.

That’s it for now.

I’ll write again soon.
