My Produce is Divine

Hello!
Happy Summer! That was a tough week we just had. I had to close at 3pm last Friday. The floor in the barn was so wet I didn’t need to slip and my customers needed to be safe. Heavens, what next?

The homegrown Baby Red Potatoes are here. Mine isn’t ready yet but we are digging White Dakota Pearl, fun. We have started to dig Garlic. The tops have not started to dry so it would not store. But I can’t find American Garlic. It’s China & Mexico. I’m not a fan of them.

Our small Cucumbers are starting to be picked. Not the slicing ones yet. The Cilantro didn’t make it. I get Organic Cilantro from Wisconsin, great!

My brains are on overdrive. To find good produce, there may be a shortage of Sweet Corn. Local is not ready and the Indiana Corn I get will be done.

I do have great Produce. My Cabbage is ready. It’s so good. I planted a lot of varieties to find the kind I grow. The Cabbage Plants you find at Garden Centers is usually stone head, that’s like eating a baseball (which I have never done), no flavor.

I need someone to Bake. Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings. My customers just love the Cookies we bake. I do have an elf to jump in to help, but it’s nice to fill that spot.
