The Streams are Running
Spring is in the Air
the Cat is Sunning
And Henrette Doesn’t have a Care
Hello!
Isn’t this winter wonderful? Not a lot of snow or cold. Yes, there are some windy days, but the sun is out a lot.
I have a lot of seeds ordered, a lot left to figure out. I found a new grower to order from. Fun to find new people to help.
We start Peppers, Herbs, and Eggplant about March 20th. The Tomatoes are started the end of March.
The Coffee Shack will be open again. I have found a hostess to serve. Friday and Saturday 10am to 3pm.
I may have to cancel the events if this virus keeps spreading. Keep reading my letters to see where that is at. Cancel if it rains.
The Garden Tour for July 22 is taking shape. The town garden at Cologne, Larry Johnson, Cliff Johnson in the country by Cologne, then lunch At The Farm. I have not heard from David Bedford (The Honey Crisp Apple Man) yet. I’ll let you know soon. He will speak on this fabulous apple he invented. Tickets $45 each.
Tea At The FarmA Tour is planned for the Barn Quilts of Carver County, 10th Anniversary with Janet Fahey. She is the leader. Its toursbyjanet@BarnQuiltsofCCMN.com, 612-382-4512, August 8, 2020.
The Downtown Abby Tea is taking shape, June 26th at 1pm in my Loft. I can seat 34 people. $30 per person. Savory Sweets and Tea.
Checks made out to DONNA FRANTZ. If events Downtown Abby and Garden Tour is cancelled, I will refund your money.
The Developing of new houses behind my farm is taking shape. The land is all sold. It’s interesting how the landscape is changing. There was 15 lots on Lake Waconia. They are all sold. 1/2 million for the lot and one million for the house.
Karen, my Cookie Baker, is going to help me 2 days in the summer, that’s a gift. I have a new fabulous baker but it’s great to have another. She also made the great Potato Salad.
I’ll open early April if the weather holds. The seed potatoes will be here April 2, Onion Plants week of April 13th. I’ll have the seeds also to sell.
I’m excited to see you all. I’m ready. That’s enough in the house.
