The snow keeps falling
The Cardinals are pretty and red
I can hear Spring calling
So I really can’t stay in bed

Hello!
Happy Winter that never goes away.

This reminds me when I grew up by the South Dakota border between Marietta and Madison, Minnesota. The weather gives me a lot of time to get seeds ordered. Regroup and reinvent myself for the 2019 season. Fun to plan.

My Sister Saturday Gala is coming together wonderfully. I’ll launch my Coffee Shack with a tip jar for charity to the Carver County Veterans Memorial Park in Mayer, MN. I found someone who will help find Veterans to be honored. I think this idea will take on a life of its own. I’m working on getting a V.I.P. for the event. I’ll try to get a TV station and local paper to help sell the sizzle. Traveled Ground band from Waconia will be here 11am to 1pm. Sister Saturday is May 11, 2019.

I also have another new plan. I have always wanted another stove for me to use to Bake. I have mastered that Pound Cake. The 5th try was a winner. I want to bake a lot of wonderful cakes but the convection oven blows a lot of the batter around. I would love to do Rhubarb Tart, Black Forest Cake, German Chocolate, and whatever else I can make. I love to bake. I’ll make muffins, yeast bread, maybe pies again, I need to sell the sizzle for the Coffee Shack, yes the cookies are baked by someone else. I have to tell you I can’t make wonderful cookies.

The stove, it’s electric, 30″ wide. All I really wanted was the oven. It’s from the Thrift Shop in Waconia. They never take appliances but this one is so clean and the people were getting a new kitchen. I need Sparkie to hook it up.

I get so excited to do something new. Makes my brains work.
Thank to all who read my letters, the Open Rate is over the top!
Watch for spring.
I’ll write again.
