Spring Planting At The FarmLove the Spring Season
My favorite time of the year
No one needs a reason
To hear the Cardinals sing what cheer

Hello!

What a spring! It’s just fabulous. A tour on my gator is a great spark in my day.
The garlic is up about 6-8 inches. The fields are getting open to plant.

Cold Crops to Plant:

Seed Potatoes – Kennebec, Viking, Red Norland, Yukon Gold, White Pearl, Norkato Russet, Pontiac and Blue

Onions – Yellow, White, Red Sets, Onion Plants, Yellow, Red and White, Shallots, Red Skin

Cabbage Plants – Blue Lagoon, Jersey, Wakefield, and Charmet

Brussel Sprouts

Parsley – flat leaf Italian

Kale Plants – you can plant Kale direct in your soil with seed

Kohlrabi Plants – this also can be planted by seed

Beets – seed

The seed jars are filled and ready for your vegetable garden needs.

I have my gardening books for sale again. I had to reorder them as I sold out last year. It’s so special to teach people to garden – what a gift.

It’s so great to reconnect with all of you. People tell me about their last year’s gardens, what worked and what didn’t. Alot did not work in 2014. Don’t give up. I too had some things that weren’t great. Being a farmer there is always next year.

Happy Planting!
