Carver County Fair is almost here
It’s great to see
Come to My Farm not for a beer
But Fabulous Garden Fresh Produce and Me
Hello!
The summer is doing a 180 for weather and production. We didn’t get all the fields planted, but what is planted is great. The Garlic is dug, not a large bulbs as I wanted but they will do. They are drying.
The potatoes are also being dug. Not for storage but to eat. Red Viking and Yukon Gold. Candy onions, Cipollini, Red Torpedo, Shallots, scallions, fun to gather.
I have a new elf. What a gift, like a duck to water. Now I’m working on a baker. I have someone, maybe. I believe God puts people in your path to help you and you need to figure it out.
Had a cooler problem on Friday. I had a divine intervention what the problem could be, the switch somehow got turned off. Without electric things don’t work. I flipped the switch and it turned on. No wonder my hair turns gray!
Henrietta (my hen) is excellent. People really enjoy her. The 15 other chickens in the pen are growing. People enjoy looking at them. The cats are great also.
The Coffee Shack will be closed next week because of the Fair. The Church Ladies gathering on Tuesday is wonderful. We get to visit with people and learn about them. This will continue to the end of August.
