Sept 4 Newsletter
Hello!
The season is marching on. Sometimes I wonder where the time goes. The weather is great. So fun to drive around the fields to enjoy the view.
The kittens are now teenagers. They are a joy. I have 4 of them. I have 2 chicks and a mother hen. They are fun to watch.
The onions and shallots are dug and drying. It was a good season. Potatoes are also dug but had a lot that did not make it, too wet. I’ll plant them in a different field next year.
We are starting to cut broom corn for decorating your Welcome Door. Also corn shucks soon. Fall is a pretty season but not my favorite. I hate when the season is done.
I needed to rethink my Produce Hut by Fleet Farm. I’ll be open in September. Hwy 5 did not open as planned. Now it will be in October. the Produce Hut is open Wed-Sat 11-5 unless I run out of food.
We will have winter squash when its ready, Minnesota Grown apples, corn until mid-September. Onions, peppers, tomatoes, honey from my farm, maple syrup from Lake Waconia and local potatoes.
Come see us!
